Alina Guerrero-Peña

Ms. Peña is the Owner and Artistic Director of On Your Toes Dance Academy. Born in Queens, N.Y. and raised in Miami, Ms. Peña began her classical Ballet training at the age of 7 with Alita Cabrera and Julio Lamas, later training with Vivian Tobio, Edmundo Ronquillo and Maria Eugenia Lorenzo of the Ballet Nacional de Cuba. Ms. Peña performed with the Florida International Ballet Company as a member of the Corp, while she received her Bachelor's degree in Dance with a minor in Education. Ms. Peña is also the Director of Dance at Dillard Center for the Arts & Magnet Performing Arts High School. Ms. Peña has produced numerous full length Ballets for the school and has won countless regional dance awards. Her student's are best known for being excellent and well trained Ballet dancers that are also versed in Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Modern and Hip-Hop.

Melissa James Bonta
Graduating with a Bachelor's in Science from Florida International University in 2006, Mrs. Bonta has been dancing since she was eleven years old. Originally training at The Dance Exchange, her teachers included Linda Rogers Albritton, Yayi Faretta, Ursino del Valle, Annalisia Simone and Zedric Bembry. She performed as a senior company ensemble member receiving many awards and performing at numerous venues. She was the consummate "studio kid" spending countless hours daily training and perfecting her craft. She joined On Your Toes in 2015.

Astrid Zuluaga

Astrid began her Ballet studies in Peru and has performed with many professional dance companies before receiving a full scholarship to study under Vladimir Issaev in North Miami Beach. She is currently a company member of Arts Ballet Theater of Florida. 

Liana Alvarez
Miss Alvarez began her training in classical Ballet with Ballet Etudes in Miami under the direction of Susana Prieto. She was later accepted to the prestigious training ground at Miami City Ballet before she found her real passion in Contemporary Dance. Miss Alvarez is a sought after choreographer and performer and has judged numerous dance competitions around the country. Her stye is rich in undertones of everything from Jazz to African. Formerly the Artistic Director of RAWW Dance, Miss Alvarez also guest teaches at Dillard Center for the Arts.
